Its more like you're renting a thiny house from a family then a hotel. No reception or eating place. The moment they see you in the morning they ask if they can bring yoy breakfast. Very nice och charming. I will absolutly go back here!

If you have bigger luggage, consider using a taxi drop-off close to the entrance to avoid navigating the uneven pathway.

Sense of living in a small village on the edge of rice fields and forest. Hard to judge value-for-money ("wet" showers, no TV, iffy wi-fi). Spacious rooms but very basic. Great staff, did a pretty good job of cleaning. Breakfast on porch a nice touch.
Minor quibble: Lots of small wildlife - lizards, vocal pond frogs, ants... Needed to close the windows at night to keep out various (except for lizards, which will come in anyway), but ceiling fan did a decent job of allowing for sleep. All goes with the location, I think.

This hotel is managed by a very kind family. Service was excellent. They were very helpful and resourceful. We enjoyed our stay and the tours to Lovina and the volcano they guide us. The location is perfect. Just on the corner of our favourite restaurant Ibu Rai in Ubud, main shopping street and Monkey Road.

beautiful gardens, comfortable bungalow, excellent water pressure
Narrow road access can be annoying!!! Carrying luggage a long distance is inconvenient!!! Pool cleanliness leaves much to be desired!!! Possible maintenance on bathrooms would enhance the experience!!!

Nicely designed rooms, with the two most expensive ones (still very cheap) absolutely fabulous - they look like ornate, chinese temples. A very nice pond with lots of breeding amphibians at this time of year (December). Very relaxed place with nobody continually asking if you want a tour or to hire a taxi for a day etc. The staff leave you alone unless you ask for something.

The communal kitchen was an absolute mess, far from hygienic, and the dirty pool was ignored until I pointed it out. I thought I'd get special treatment as a VIP, but apparently that's not their style. I almost gave them 5 stars, but when you don't care for your guests, don't expect applause.

The room was modern and airy and the bathroom clean. The location was perfect, relatively near a Hindu temple complex. It was surely a perfectly pleasant stay for 24 nights.

The gardens were amazing, and we loved the serene pool area. Finding a cool little spot to relax was easy. We checked out Bali Pulina and had a great time. Staff, especially with our small family.
In my wife's opinion, having more kitchen utensils would be great.

The staff were very sweet and made delicious banana pancakes! It was tucked in off of the main road in monkey forest which made it hard to find but it was also nice and quiet. The surroundings were very green and beautiful an it was close to lots of good shopping and restaurants!
It was pretty difficult to find when we first arrived in Ubud.

Clean place with lovely view of the colourful garden and pool. Good breakfast and lots of goodies. Spacious, cheap rooms, GREAT pool. Location not far from a greenery lined laneway, a taxi, and beatiful garden. For tea or coffee visit Cafe Wayan & Bakery nearby. Excellent service, parking nearby. Everything wonderful.

Group travelers looking for a peaceful retreat
The room was spacious with excellent air conditioning. And the pool was a highlight, kept impeccably clean and a perfect spot for us to unwind and cool off!
It wasn't exactly inexpensive for what it was but still reasonable enough for the experience we had.
